| - Hi there, I went to this dentist a little over 6 months ago, they were not friendly when I first came in and I had to wait for over 30 minutes to get back to see the hygienist. I was told that I would need 4 fillings and also have an option to get antiseptic in my mouth for my cleaning to prevent my gums from bleeding, I asked the hygienist is this normal for your office? I've never been told my gums would bleed from a simple cleaning, she said that since it's been longer than 6 months since my last cleaning, I told her it would have been 8 months and still don't think my gum should be bleeding unless she's the one causing it. I asked her what is the name of the medicine she would be using to prevent this and she didn't know the name, only knew it costs $10 extra along with the other $200 for the fillings, which mind you I've had 1 cavity in my life, how do I all of a sudden have 3 new potential problems in 8 months, I have always been told I have great teeth and these are the first "professionals" to tell me otherwise. So then after refusing the chlorhexidine she later came in to tell me the name and was rude when I turned it down... They still persisted to sell me on anything and everything else available, "oh a new deal on teeth whitening and only said amount for a cancer check." While my cleaning the hygienist would take many breaks to watch TV, and was rude and condescending throughout the entire visit... And didn't even floss my teeth!! She used force and same with the dentist when he did my fillings, my jaw was in so much pain after leaving. Now again, this was over 6 months ago and who do I get a text from 2 days ago? Family Dentistry informing me I have an appointment on Monday, Martin Luther King Day, well on that Saturday I had replied saying to cancel it, well that didn't matter because they are closed and when they called this am to inform me I had accrued a $25 missed appointment charge I was irate informing her that is unacceptable to remind me on a day they are not open, Kelly the manager said that even if I did want to cancel I would have had to call the day before I received the reminder... Are you kidding me?! I'll pay them but VERRRY slowly... Please don't waste your time like I did and yes I also wish I had read these previous reviews before I had gone... And also a huge red flag was: the dentist's teeth were disgusto!! I would give a big fat zero out of five stars but I can't...
