  • We have been taking our little 9 pound rescue dog to see Kim and LOVE her, she always did an excellent job on our puppy and was very patient with our dog who did not like the whole bath and haircut process. We were notified that Kim had a family emergency and that another groomer would be taking care of our princess. I explained that Kim was very patient with our difficult pup and they assured me that she would be fine. Malinda was the one that was to groom our dog, and I explained not to shave her down and how to trim her face. I get a call to pick her up, and Malinda accuses me on the phone of improperly feeding my dog and that she is malnourished because she is very thin. I explained that she was the runt of the litter, and that we have her to the vet twice a year, the vet has her on a feeding schedule 4 times a day, and verified that how and what we were feeding her was perfectly acceptable. All tests came back and the fact that she was eating, pooping, and active and happy proved that she was a healthy pup. In the vets words "some dogs are just on the thin side, I would much rather her be on the thin side, with the diet we recommend for you then you beef her up on table foods". Now after I explained all this to Malinda, she had the nerve to ask me what vet I was referring to. I told her and she did acknowledge that it was one of the "good" Veterinarians in the area, and then proceeded to tell me that our dog was not allowed at Malindas anymore. I was shocked!!! So I went to pick up my little princess, and was again shocked that she was shaved down, her face a mess, and her beard uneven. Extremely disappointed and embarrassed that she would accuse me of neglect and on top of that do a crappy job on the grooming. So sorry that Kim was not there for my baby.
