| - I am not a regular Yelp user but I had to write this review so no one else experienced what I experienced on my recent trip to Toronto.
Having read all the previous reviews of this establishment, my girlfriends and I were excited to go to this place but to our dismay it was obvious this wasn't the same place that these earlier reviews or pictures were of. The place was a mess, the bar staff were disinterested in the customers and more so into their phones, eating their foods and laughing and chatting with each other to notice us at the head of the bar.
They have drag shows now, which wasn't mentioned in the previous reviews, so having gone next door to Boutique to get our drinks from more attentive staff, we went back to see the drag show, that was an experience, the queen was intoxicated to the point of being a complete embarrassment and very uncomfortable to watch, the bar staff was surly and dismissive and it was an exercise in how far this business has fallen since the last review dated 12/18/2013
For the sake of being fair we went again a few days later, a Friday night this experience was even more disappointing than the first, there was a show in progress and one queen flat out demanded tips, that she wasn't "doing this for the fun of it", she more she drank, the nastier she got, so it was a relief when her set was done and was followed by another very beautiful queen and Carlotta, who was a gem, she was funny and after she came over and welcomed us to the bar, even took a few pic with the girls
Tips are in effect gratuity for giving outstanding service, you don't demand tips, you don't swear and tell paying customers you aren't doing it for the fun of it, this is your job which you were hired to do!

This current incarnation is far and away a different business from the business that the comments that is dated 2013 and backward represents.
Shame!
