The food was SO good and not THAT pricey (for a good meal in Vegas). You get started with a warm baguette. YUM! I had the classique steak with asparagus (my hubby ordered the mushrooms and we split sides). My kids had the burger (it came kinda rare for a kid meal) and the Mac and cheese. He said it was too cheesy (blasphemy!). It was white cheddar shells (like Panera) but not saucy. You could see the melted shreds of cheese in it. Both kid meals came with thinly sliced granny apple slices and green beans.
The steak was wonderful. I actually think the green beans were the best side (I stole all of it off my kid's plate.). For sure will get those next time. We sat just inside from the patio. We had a great view of the Bellagio fountains and folks walking by. At about 6pm, the sun sets behind Bellagio so you are fine dining on the patio at after that time. I heard a hostess tell another couple that they get busiest between 7 and 10 pm as they walked by our table. We also had the creme brûlée for dessert. A little too much lemon for my taste and it needed a side of berries or something. (I know, I know, it's still creme brûlée!)
The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because our waitress disappeared midway through dinner and we had to ask a hostess for more iced tea. Seriously, it was my last resort since I was so thirsty. I was looking around for her when my glass was half full (or empty) and she never appeared until it was totally empty. Other than that, service was good.
