| - Absolutely atrocious. I'm disappointed that I wasted gas getting there.
I was seen for a manicure by the owner/owner's wife. When I reminded her that I had a voucher from a fundraiser they had been a part of for a manicure and handed it to her, she looked at it in disgust and slowly went to get her manicure tools from the back.
When she had started, I asked her if she could cut my nails, as she was just filing them, and she argued with me that it's better for them if they're not cut. I told her that they were way too long and they rip, I have a toddler, I need them to be a decent length. And she tried to tell me that they won't rip no matter how long they are if they're filed evenly (???). In the end, she cut them. Angrily, and unevenly. I left with crooked nails of all lengths; some with rounded tips, some with squared tips, some with BOTH. All she did was: cut, file, trim cuticles, apply cuticle oil. The voucher stated it was for a full manicure, so this was a real let down. I looked at their pamphlet of other services anyways, and when she realised that I might be coming back, she must have felt bad for doing such a terrible job because she explained to me that if I PAY for it (not just the voucher, that I still paid for) then I would get more. So I didn't get a manicure, I didn't even get an EXPRESS manicure, I got less than that, and with terrible attitude. I'm very disappointed that they wouldn't honour their fundraiser vouchers for what they had agreed, and with such resentment. If you make a business decision that you later regret, you CAN'T take it out on your customers. Terrible business all around.
I always tip, especially with vouchers, but this lady blew it AND lost a customer.
