  • Cañonita is all about the atmosphere ! And the great ends there. Pros: beautiful location right next to the canals! Decorated beautifully Cons: food leaves on a mediocre note. Service subpar. Booking a reservation through open table was a breeze and was honored when I showed up. And the good service comes to an end right there. Being seated right next to the canal was something very beautiful that you can only do in Vegas. Lights hang above your head and overall it really is a beautiful location. But the food does not match anything close to the decor. You'd expect amazing food at a prime spot at one of the world's largest hotels. Unfortunately not so much at this place. Not horrid, but definitely not wow. The fajitas were just there. You're tasting the steak the peppers the onions, but where's the wow ? Where's the melting in your mouth? Where's the mmm? Perhaps the waiter took it along with the what seems to look like a place with awesome service on the outside. Not too attentive despite a not so busy day. When asked for lemon or anything else to be brought at the table it took a good 10 minutes for the waiter to come around again. All in all was checked up on once. I suppose the service matches the food. Mediocre. It is a true travesty both could not match what is other wise a beautiful restaurant in a prime location. Do I recommend it ? It depends , what's your definition of a memorable restaurant experience while you're on vacation?
