The spot coffee is a frequent spot for commuters, locals and students alike. Being a cafe you'll notice a lot of busy people working on a laptops grabbing a quick snack.
After you first step in, you'll notice that the ordering counter is exactly the same as that of a starbucks or second cup. The thing that sets the spot coffee apart is the menu of sandwiches, pizza and breakfast items they have.
The menu has a variety of pizzas as well as sandwiches and wraps. When going there we got a chicken feta wrap and a assorted omlette. In regards to coffees and teas they have your usual options of the norms like coffees, chai and teas.
After getting a table and sitting down we were shortly told to puck up our orders. My omlette came with an English muffin slathered in butter and the wrap came with a mixed green salad. One thing I must say is that the amount of filling in each of the items was no joke. A quick look and bite into the wrap unveiled several large chunks of chicken breast and vegetables (note the proportion was probably 80 percent chicken). The omlette did not stray that far away, stuffed with an assortment of fresh vegatables and black forest ham. I was quite impressed with how fresh all the vegetables were as the freshness of the ingredients were really brought out, especially in the wrap.
All in all, the spot coffee is a nice cozy place with an urban decor where you can sneak some time out of your busy day for a quick bite to eat or a latte.
