  • This is my new favourite market East of the Don. Wow! Great produce selection. Really fresh everything. Ontario berries, corn, beans, cabbage, basil, peppers, eggs - basically everything that you can possibly expect from an Ontario produce market is here in spades. Instead of a bunch of micro businesses with just lettuce or just 2 types of cheese, this market is bursting with established vendors who offer a much greater variety. And best of all - you can can get in and get out without navigating your way around face-painting clowns, unicyclists and questionable musicians. This place is purely about the food. Unfortunately, the hours are 8-2 on Tuesdays, but it's worth arriving late for work.
