  • After working right next to abbeys for the summer and trying out a variety of things I the menu abbeys has gone down a star in my book. The food is pretty decent but some things aren't worth the price. I was disappointed that the shepherds pie didn't taste as good as the first time I ordered it. It was a bit salty. The first time I ordered it I honestly fell in love telling everyone at my office to try it. I also didn't like the fact that they advertise half price appetizers (meaning they are 50 percent off) when in actually they are half portion appetizers. If I knew I would be paying 5 dollars for 5 periogies I wouldn't bother. I'd rather pay ten for ten. I tried the burger and it was a but overcooked and dry I had to ask for ketchup as it didn't come on the burger. And finally there is a waitress there that is middle aged with mid length her that always makes me feel like a burden when picking up food. No pleasantries nada. The rest are extremely friendly but she isn't. I also noticed a lot of fruit flies around their bar I don't know why but they need to fix that. I know fruit flies come if you don't clean your tap well enough.
