It was about time I visited a historic Phoenix steakhouse. I wish I could say it blew my socks off, but it did not. I ordered Big Bills Big Whiskey upon arrival. It was essentially a huge whiskey sour. It was on. Had a lot of tartiness. The lack of a bar was disapointing. I ordered a top sirloin with beans, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Everything was good, not great, but good. The 10oz steak was reasonably prices. Cooked well but could use more seasoning. The sides were much better especially the cowboy beans. The enviroment is friendly and family appropriate. Service was good and attentive; however, i was one of four people there.
