I purchased a LivingSocial deal for a month's membership. This is close to work & would come in handy to work out @ after I get off of work. Well I gotta say after looking over their website for their business hours so I would know when I could go & redeem my deal I couldn't find their business hours. Really?? How is that? That right there should have been a sign.
So I ended up sending an email to the company email address provided & never heard back....second bad sign. So I called the number & guess what??? NO ONE ANSWERED......nor did they mention their business hours on their VM. So I left a message inquiring when I was able to come & redeem my LivingSocial deal. A few days later (3rd bad sign) someone called me back & left me a message telling me 9am-7pm.
So when I finally went in to redeem my deal & activate my membership the guest door was locked, some man inside was pointing towards the other door when I was looking in. I went over to the Members door & he opened it for me & I asked him if anyone that worked there was there. He said no that the office door was closed & that there was someone there before & that he left.
I had this disappointed look on my face as I thanked the guy & walked away & the poor guy said he was sorry....I told him it wasn't his fault. He asked if I was going to come back & I told him no, that I had to go somewhere else. Mind you I was there at apx 5:20pm before closing time of 7pm.
So because of this horrible customer service or should I say there is no customer service I wasn't able to redeem my deal nor do I think I want to after all the BS I went through. I called the place once I got into my car & of course got VM & left a message about how I was told what their hours were & was there before 7pm & no one was there to activate my membership.
I don't recommend this club @ all & I haven't even had the chance to workout in it. But if you can't get a person on the phone, email or in the place of business that is a BIG warning sign. I will hopefully get my money back from LivingSocial & know better in the future!
