I took my wife to Crave Dessert Bar for a surprise evening uptown. We don't get to Uptown Charlotte a whole awful lot because of the drive but we like to slap on some fancy grown up clothes and hit the town once in a while.
After dinner at Fahrenheit, we tinked tinked on over to Crave to grab a drink and a dessert.
I forgot that Crave was a hookah bar as well. I don't smoke hookah but the vibe hear seemed pretty chill. A good amount of people there on a Thursday evening but not super crowded.
Of course, I started out with wine... A Zinfandel bc (duh) it is my new fav right now. Again just a great, balanced, red wine. Easy to drink and you get to feel a little bougie because not too many folks drink it.
For dessert, I had Baileys bread pudding: Bailey's bread pudding, white chocolate crème anglaise, covered in berries. I was very content with what I ordered. I love bread pudding and wish that this one was a little more dense that it was. But the flavor was really good. I do love that they give you a little bottle of creme to pour over the bread pudding.
Overall, they do a great job on presentation but wasn't wowed by dessert. I really like the vibe in there so I will most likely go bad again sometime and try a few other things on the menu.
