| - BUYER BEWARE! The dress selection is impressive but take your dress and RUN to a separate seamstress. I found a beautiful dress at Celebrations and thought that everything about the experience was magical. This was in July. Fast forward to today when I called to confirm that my dress alterations were done (like I was told when I called earlier in the week--Monday) and a sales associate says that my dress will absolutely NOT be ready to pick up today. Though irritated at the obvious lack of communication between the sales associate I spoke with Monday and the associate I spoke with today, I politely asked to speak to a supervisor. I was then transferred not to a supervisor, but the owner. When I expressed to him my dissatisfaction that the dress alterations were not completed on the day I was told, he responded VERBATIM, "if you're going to act unhappy then I'll stop all your alterations and you can take the dress elsewhere!!"
At this point, I'm in tears. I can't believe how the OWNER of a bridal business could be so vile to his customers. Trying to steady my voice, I tell him that I don't appreciate the rudeness but that if I'm not going to get my dress on the day I was promised, then I would like some sort of concession to be made for the inconvenience ( nothing crazy a small discount on the alterations or an expedited pick up time would have been sufficient). The owner then says "I'm not going to COMPENSATE you!" I replied, "Sir, I said 'concession' not 'compensation'. There is a fundamental difference in definition. I would at the very least like an apology for your rudeness and the implication that you would halt my alterations because I am not satisfied with the service I've received."
So now, I have to wait to pick up my dress and hope like hell that this AWFUL man doesn't sabotage my dress. I am awestruck by the lack of courtesy and common decency that I experienced from this boutique.
***UPDATE****
We came the very next day (today) to pick up my dress. And when we asked the front desk if we could speak with the owner (ROBERT-- As he was the one who was so rude to me on the phone) she said "yes! He's here now." However, she returned a couple of minutes later and Robert was CONVENIENTLY "out to lunch". Looks like Robert is a little man with a big mouth on the phone, but a coward when confronted about his horrible customer service.

Celebrations bridal replied to this review, but the owner absolutely DID NOT apologize to me for his rudeness on the phone, Robert DID threaten to hold my dress hostage by halting alterations (full well knowing that I am an out of town bride and this would be my last opportunity to have it altered before the wedding). Please check out their other poor reviews, as this kind of lack of customer service is a habitual behavior for the owner. Also, how could Robert (who claims he was out to lunch) have possibly known what I look like in my dress if he indeed wasn't there? The boutique's response to my review is a lame attempt to cover their behinds.
