I have debated posting a review for this place for a few days. I have been here three times, making an appointment each time. The first two times I waited 10 to 15 minutes for my appointment time. The third time I waited almost 40 minutes, sitting in a pedicure chair waiting for my technician who I could visibly see servicing a walk-in client that had come in 30 minutes prior to my check in time. This is total BS. I got up to walk out because my patience had run out, the gentleman who works up front took me back and started working on my nails finally. I received a half hearted apology, but proper customer service would have at minimum given me a partial discount because I wasted 40 minutes of my time waiting for them. I also had to cancel my second service which was a pedicure, because of my other commitments.
Upon checking out I asked what time I should book an appointment that would be honored in a timely manner. I was told that they are always busy and that I need to come in at 9 AM when they are not busy. I'd love to be able to do this but I actually have a job that requires me to be at work from 9-3. I skipped my lunch break so I could come in early and pamper myself a little bit after an extremely stressful two weeks and all they did was aggravate me to the point that I could not even have a basic small talk conversation with my technician because I was so upset and didn't want to take it out on her as time management/booking appts is the front desks job. It really is a shame because they do excellent work and this is the reason why I came back three times. I will not be back again as my business and time are not valued.
There is no point in having an appointment book when you have no intention of honoring appointment times. In addition if you see that somebody is running late proper customer service is to call the client and let them know ahead of them arriving. I assume this is the reason why you ask for the phone number at appointment booking. It's basic common courtesy as well, I could have gone and gotten a cup of coffee or something instead of sitting in a pedicure chair watching other appointments and walk-ins be serviced.
I am a good client, who appreciates good customer service, salon services and tips minimum 20%. The way this business is run is not the way to build a solid clientele I can see why they depend on walking to fill in their gaps.
