| - I always go to this Walmart as it's the closest one to me. As I was in the produce section, I was picking up some peppers, and there was an employee stocking whatever he was stocking. I needed a bag to put my peppers in, and the closest one was right next to the employee. As I tried to reach for it, he didn't move and insisted I go out of my way to grab a different bag. I didn't mind at first, since the other bags were only a few steps away, but then he started making short jokes, acting like I would be jumping to barely reach the bags, as if it would be such a huge inconvenience for him. Really? Do you think you're being funny? How rude. I expect more from someone in a customer service position.
Anyway, my cashier's name was Rick, and he was dressed as the villain from the walking dead. He was awesome, he made conversation with everyone, but not to the point where he held up the line (like most cashiers). As I was walking out I forgot my eggs, and he actually ran after me just to give me my eggs. Wow! I was so surprised that he went above and beyond just so I wouldn't leave without my eggs. How awesome :) I would have given this rating 2 stars for the bad first employee experience, but Rick's performance convinced me to give 4/5.
