  • I am in Phoenix (Chandler) visiting a friend and doing some business so everything here is new to me. I found this place through yelp and I am so thankful for yelp's reviews to guide me to the great places that this city has to offer. I help to manage a small massage studio in San Francisco, so I know how hard it is to get good massage therapists, educate clients on the benefits and importance of regular massage and keep the prices affordable enough to keep clients coming back on a regular basis to keep their bodies in balance. Massage envy has figured out a formula to do all of these things with style and grace. I went with a friend and we both had such great experiences that he signed up for a membership (or is about to). My therapist was Sarah C and she rocked it! I know the difference between someone who is going through the motions and someone that knows what they are doing and cares about what they do and clearly is skilled at what she does and dedicated to providing her client with a healing therapeutic and relaxing experience. she had a few tricks on releasing my piriformis muscle (go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piriformis_muscle to learn more about that muscle) that was just brilliant. I had lasting relief from the chronic pain that i have in my hip... Thank you Sara! My Friends therapist was David M. He is suffering from a degenerative spinal disorder and suffers from chronic intense pain. he has been getting semi regular massages from other sources and after his impressive massage from David, as I stated above, will be seeking regular treatments from David to relieve his pain. Honestly, I am momentarily reluctant to write such a glowing review out of fear that these 2 fantastic therapists will get too busy to be able to get an appointment with once the word is out, but they deserve to be acknowledged and rewarded for the gift that they offer and I hope that becomes the case, they will somehow find room in their schedule to still take care of us when we need it :) a Note To Massage Envy: take good care of these precious resources that you have so that they can continue to find joy in the work that they do and they will continue to work for you so that we know where to find them when we need them. :)
