The best flat-iron steak I've ever had, just melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly marbled and complemented by a robustly flavorful sauce. Despite the unorthodox layout of the restaurant, the atmosphere still felt warm and intimate. There was chatter all around me, but I never felt distracted outside of the conversation at my own table. Only disappointment was the bread, which I heard so many glowing things about. Maybe it was just an off day, but it was pretty pedestrian, IMO.
