Yesterday I went to Miss T's for the first time for a manicure and pedicure. I called in the morning and had no trouble making an appointment for the afternoon. The salon is inside a building along Walnut Street on the third floor among other businesses' office spaces. Upon arriving I rung the buzzer and they quickly let me into the building, and then greeted me at the door of the salon. The salon space is extremely homey and comfortable, with very feminine, stylish decor. I found the space to be very relaxing.
The ladies who work at Miss T's were all extremely kind, gentle and provided wonderful service. When I go to salons I often feel that they are just trying to get me in and out as quickly as possible. However, at Miss T's they really took their time and did truly beautiful and professional work on my nails. I feel that they want to establish a personal connection with their customers, which I really appreciate. My fingernails were in pretty bad shape because I usually do my nails myself and I hadn't had time to touch them for more than a week. The manicurist was very gentle with my hands and gave me advice on how to take better care of my hands so they will feel and look better overall.
I found the prices to be very reasonable for the quality of the services provided. I will absolutely be returning to Miss T's next time I want to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure.
To the people who are writing bad reviews because they are unable to receive walk-in service: It is made very clear that Miss T's is appointment-only. This is written all over their website, here on yelp and on the front door of the salon. It is very difficult to miss this information, so I am surprised to find so many people on here who were disappointed due to not receiving walk-in service. This is a boutique-style salon with only a few employees and they run their business in a certain way. I called and made an appointment for the same day with no issue, and they saw me immediately when I came in. I highly suggest that you just call them and make an appointment, it is absolutely worthwhile.
Thank you Miss T's for a wonderful salon experience!
