| - All but 3 pairs on jeans I own are from Rue21. I like them, they feel and look good. Over the holidays I purchased some denim jeans and received a coupon in the mail a couple weeks later. It was Spend $40 and get $20 off. A few weeks ago, I was browsing some jeans online and purchased 2, as it was buy 1 get another for $10 off. I didn't like one of the jeans I ordered so I went to this location to exchange them.
There someone before me, while I waited to see on how I could exchange them. After waiting for the only person in line, I decided to look at the other jeans they had. They only had four pairs of jeans in my size. Ugh. Then again, Every Rue2 store I go to is like that... I found 2 denims I would purchase and went back in line. Finally after 10 more minutes, I asked if I could try on the jeans so I could exchange the one I brought in. One fitted nice, looked decent, so I went to the register... and waited 5 minutes for a person to return something they purchased.
The person leaves and i give the employee my exchange, receipt, and the new denim jeans I wanted. Here is the kicker: My receipt did not show the coupon, or the b1g1 for $10. It didn't have anything like that listed, only what the total came out to. It was slightly irritating, the lady tried to charge me an extra $16ish on the jeans, that were less than the pair i bought!
Though in the end, I did not care about getting reimbursed for the money difference in the jeans, I just wanted a straight trade, which she obliged. I think the 8 pairs of their jeans will last me awhile to where I do have to go back there for awhile. It takes forever trying to return/exchange something even though there were 3 workers at the register, in which they kept only one open.
