  • I admit, after Phoenix packed up shop and left W. 9th street, it hasn't been top of mind with me. But this morning I woke up, completely jonesing for a Chai. So I decided to forego a morning stop to AJ Rocco's and check out the E. 9th Phoenix location. Cool space. And I felt a bit sad when I walked in because I realized how much I miss the location beneath my building. Staff is okay--not nearly as cool as the W. 9th staff but they still brew up a good cup of Chai. But the pastry selection here is a bit anemic...
