  • We were looking forward to a delcious dinner at The Gallery last week. Sadly, it was such a waste of our time and money. Appetizers: my squash soup was delicious while my husband's french onion was "the worst he has ever had". Next our entrees: He had short ribs which had so much fat on them they were unappetizing. I had the chicken & dumplings which were so bland That I had to add lots of salt (I never add salt,but I was famished). After, we were both so humgry that we decided dessert Could not be worse so we shared the deconstructed bread pudding. We were so wrong! It was dry, tasted like whiskey and so inedible that our waiter was kind enough to take it off our bill. We are so sad since this is the only nice hotel in South Charlotte. Hope they take our review to heart and work on improving. However, it will be a long time before we return. I should add that the craft cocktails that we had at the bar before dinner were excellent!
