  • Our company has been with Centurylink for over 10 years, we recently called trying to reduce our bill. They sated our bill would be $159.99 before taxes, this included 4 phone lines & internet, yet when we get the bill it is $265.00. I know taxes do not equal over $100.00. They talked us into a 2 year contract with a $50.00 discount each month for that 2 year agreement, they also said we would get a increase in speed for free, so we agreed. Mind you this is how they came to the $159.99. Nightmare # 1 They came to change us to new speed 15 days of internet hell. Now they are saying that the $50.00 is a discount for the 60.00 internet increase in speed that is now posted for $60.00 (remember the rep said this is free), mysteriously on our bill. When you call about the bill you get a different answer every time. The bill is so crazy that their reps cannot even explain it. Where are the government regulations for these companies. We are now trying to get out of the 2 year contract & get a new carrier. Beware everyone stay away from this company.
