| - OK so the Ritz Carlton this is not, but I stay here quite often, in fact it is kind of my go to spot in Vegas when I don't stay Downtown. Very reasonable prices my only gripe is the $15.00 a night resort fee, C'mon guys it's a Super 8, there is nothing resort like about this place.
However it covers the WiFi, and Breakfast in the morning so there you go.
Rooms are for the most part clean, but could use some renovating which is being done now, the upper floors have been remodeled and are done in a retro hipster style that is not bad.
The unrenovated rooms are still not that bad, but there are issues with mold in some of them.
The best part about the place is that it is attached to Ellis Island Casino which is a fun locals casino that has a brewery on site that makes adequate beer and it is sold CHEAP!!
They also have several dining options which are all quite good, and again CHEAP!!
Overall not a horrible place to stay in Vegas when solo.
Almost forgot, 2 free bottles of water are in the room daily, and ask at the desk each day of your stay for a beverage coupon for EI.
This property has not closed, it is just changing to the Ellis Island Hotel and Casino! The Super 8 signage has been removed and new signage is being put up!
