| - I walked into my garage mid-morning to find a large puddle on the floor and water trickling down the side of my water heater. A quick review of the website for my water heater brand (Rheem) resulted in finding Lennard's. I was a little concerned when I couldn't find any Yelp reviews for the business, but I needn't have worried. I called and explained my problem to the assistant. Lennard called back a short time later (he had been on another line when I called). He had already contacted the company and determined that my water heater was under warranty, located a replacement water heater locally, and arranged for pick-up of that heater in time to be at my house replacing the heater by mid-afternoon. He explained what my warranty covered (replacement water heater, but not the labor) and what my additional cost would be as well as walking me through some things I could do to speed up the service if I wanted(getting the breakers turned off, beginning to drain the heater, etc.). An assistant arrived in early afternoon and Lennard came a short while later. They made the fix with the final cost under the estimate I had been given. However, they discovered that my recirculating pump had also died (not a fault of the heater replacement as far as I could tell). Lennard returned the next day and replaced the pump with a higher quality pump. He took care of the little things, coiling the hose that I had attached to the heater for draining and hanging the towels I had put around the leaky heater. When Lennard returned the next day, he also filled our salt reservoir for the water softener with bags that we had bought the night before but hadn't had time to add yet. Lennard is professional, knowledgable, and personable. He'll be my first call for any future plumbing needs. Note: he only accepts checks or cash. I always like the ease of using a credit card, but certainly understand why a small business owner may not want to deal with the hassle of credit card companies.
