Let's face it -- the Phoenix metro area sucks when it comes to ethnic food offerings. OK, well, maybe except for Mexican food. But that's a given. My sister introduced me to Chodang when I first moved here. Lucky woman lives less than 10 minutes from the restaurant. I usually go for their bi bim bop and Kalbi. But now that I figured out how to make kalbi nearly as good as theirs, I rarely order it from them anymore. My sister loves their tofu soup. I'm not partial to it, but hey, to each her own. The prices are reasonable. Oh, and you know an ethnic restaurant is good when you see lots of people of that ethnicity dining there! Now if they'll only try serving some korean tacos!
