I am usually overwhelmed at the thought of going into an Apple store because they are always so busy. However, I have always left feeling relieved because I received the help I needed and purchased what I needed much faster than expected.
Today, I arrived at 10 am, hoping to beat the crowds on a Tuesday morning. The store was empty and I was greeted by a young woman. She asked what I needed and told me to go wait at the 2nd table back. I was confused, there was no line and I wasn't quite sure which was the 2nd table. She marched back to where I was standing and said, "I TOLD you to go to the 2nd table and this is the 3rd table." She was so annoyed. I'm now embarrassed but hello, I'm the customer. She was RUDE in a store without many customers. Maybe it is her first day but Apple needs to find a different greeter and one who realizes that people walking through the door are about to drop $500+ on some Apple products. The friendlier customer service person should have said, "Mam, I'm sorry, this is the table that I meant to direct you to. Someone will be with you shortly to assist you."
