| - I bought a car from Midway Nissan a couple of years back. I had been all over the Valley trying to get the right car at the right price, and Midway seemed to be the dealership most willing to work with me on the price. Now, I will grant you, it took me something like 6 hours to get the deal I wanted. They started out at about a 10% interest rate and I beat them down to 0.9% before I agreed to purchase the car. However, I get that they were just trying to make money, and if those 6 hours saved me thousands of dollars over the lifetime of the car I feel like it was time well spent. I haven't had any problems with the car over the last two years, so I have no complaints on that front.
That being said, the sales folks at Midway Nissan WILL NOT leave me alone. It seems like they email me on average once a week and call me once a month. I've tried unsubscribing, I've tried directly emailing various sales associates, and I've even told a couple of them over the phone never to call me again. There was no effect- they just keep harassing me in an effort to make more money.
It's almost ridiculous, because I did have a positive initial experience there and I feel like I got a good deal. If it weren't for their obnoxious aggression here, I probably would have considered them for future purchases. However, their high-pressure sales tactics have soured me on this entire experience. I don't know when I'll be in the market for a car again, but I do know this- I won't be getting it from Midway Nissan.
