| - Such a lovely neighbourhood spot! My partner and I popped in for a rare weekday kid free lunch, and this was exactly what we were looking for: reasonably priced delicious food in a relaxing atmosphere. The place is tiny but I wouldn't call it a whole in the wall. Bright and spotless, the restaurant doubles as a little grocery for Caribbean items. Spices, books, packaged foods, all kinds of neat stuff. The eating area in the front has two tables, a sofa and a window counter that would be perfect for a solo lunch. When we visited, perhaps because it was lunch right before the holidays, there wasn't much choice, but what we sampled was great! My partner had a spicy chicken sandwich, and I had a beef stew. Well spiced, not too heavy, just right!
