  • The Pickle is one of my favorite downtown lunchtime haunts due to its well-rounded assortment of chef-driven sandwiches, soups, and salads. Prices are higher than other sandwich shops, but you definitely get what you pay for here. I'm partial to the meat-free Downtowner sandwich (mmm, goat cheese) and the A-Town salad (pretty sure they sprinkle crack in the chicken cake). Service is fast and friendly.
