  • This place was soooo much better when it was filled with smoke and random board games with "character" everywhere. These days Weeds serves totally unremarkable coffee, is too brightly lit, and has an "empty" feeling. Its as if you're on stage in there because of the lack of intimate spacing. There is no "theme" at all, whether it be the decor or the music. Speaking of music, you are at the mercy of the ipod belonging to the "barista" --- total crapshoot could be anything from trance-dance to world-folk, or spoken word. Wow. Worst part, like I said, is the substandard coffee. Forget hanging out here, dont even bother swinging in for a coffee to go :)
