I stopped in and must have caught the surly owner on a bad day, as this guy was a hornet's nest.
Most coin shops have door lock release bell, I found it and rang, waiting for him to hit the buzzer to let me in. I never heard it, so hit it again. He waved me in and I entered. He was ticked that I hadn't pushed the door open. Sorry.
He was busy with only one other customer in the whole place so I stood back and waited patiently. When he finally got around to me and asked me what I wanted, I told him and he replied "Well we have some of those"
I waited and nothing happened. "OK, may I see them?" I asked.
He retorted "Well, what grade do you want"
and I answered "I'd like to see the better grades"
to which he responded "Well we don't have many of those".
I waited a bit longer and nothing happened.
There was a very heavy feeling in the air.
I had waited, asked politely and respectfully to see items he was selling and he hadn't shown them to me.
I started getting the impression that I was really bothering him and any attempt to see his items was getting a bad response. I figured that if he wasn't even going to let me view his inventory, then me aqnd my cash should depart.
I apologized and left.
