The new room I was given had basically the same bathroom issues with dirty towels masked by being folded over, poor drainage in the v shaped bottom tub. The sheets in this room were not clean nor were they changed the next day when I tore them all the way off the bed. I was informed by another hotel guest not to take my baby into the pool for fear of loose paint chips in the water from a bad repaint job. I had more join my party in another room that that morning I was told would be right next to mine and when they went to check in were told that room was dirty then it was under renovation then t had a leak. The guy that was checking them in wanted them to sign a waiver stating they were responsible for the room which just needed to be cleaned and have the shower curtain replaced. The next day our room keys didn't work because even though our reservations were for multiple nights our keys were only good for a day. The buffet had undercooked bacon and watery eggs when it was actually replenished. The last day of checkout two tour busses had arrived with senior citizens the night before and when talking to them in the hallway because they too had been given keys that stopped working one of the women nearly fell in the v shaped bottom tub only to be held up by the shower curtain, it's lucky that she didn't get hurt. When it was discovered that one of the members of my party left an item behind I called to find that it had been placed in lost and found but we were not called and to get the item back we would need to send them postage. After spending near $600 on rooms the correct way to handle that is to mail the item back to us. If the hotel has a manager they should be ashamed. When people go on vacation the last thing they want is a hassle when they go to lay their heads down. This hotel is anything but convenient so if you are looking for a place that will give you problems at every encounter stay at the wingate by Wyndham in streetsboro oh.
