  • PLEASE READ BELOW. Camden San Marcos is easily one of the worst places to live in Scottsdale. I have lived here for a little over 6 months and I'm counting down the days till I can move out. The water pipes in my apartment rattle at all hours of the day and night. It sounds like a old motel. Whenever anyone of my neighbors uses water, the pipes make a popping sound (Similar to a Wood Pecker) that is loud enough to keep you up all night. When I made Camden aware of this situation they were down right horrible to deal with. Refusing to help and only after demanding that there lawyer get involved, I was informed that if I wanted to move to another Camden location I would have to pay all new deposits for the two months left on my lease. The Manager of this property has 0 managing skills. Its frightening. Her staff just repeats what she says. When I was trying to get this situation resolved the manager refused to meet with me but instead told me she was "Too Busy." Her staff even went as far as implying, that if I wrote a review on the property that they didn't like, they would accuse me of Slander. Im sorry but this is the United States and last I checked the first amendment.....FREEDOM OF SPEECH is a right that we all have. To top it off my bathroom counter is covered daily in a fibrous material. Everyday I have to wipe it down with Clorox. I vacuum twice a week and have a $20 filter in the AC that is replaced every three weeks but still the material appears. Camden tried to help in the beginning but since they have given up. The only good thing about Camden San Marcos is the Maintenance guys. Both of them are class acts but there hands are tied by the manager. Bottom line this place should be condemned by the Arizona Department of Health. Camden should be ashamed of how San Marcos is run and the quality of the buildings. Never again will I allow a friend or anyone I care about to live in a Camden Property. If you have any questions please reach out to me at 480-747-5003.
