| - Couldn't wait to come here for the 50th b-day dinner, but sadly, the whole experience was ruined by the hostess. We arrived at 9 pm, walked passed the outside patio area and asked to be seated there, since almost all of the tables were open. This rude hostess told us that they didn't offer patio dining and to try Picasso's or Olives. What? I had been seated in the patio many other times. Dismayed, we left. Upon returning, another hostess greeted us and asked if we would like inside or outside. Right then, the original hostess popped up from behind the counter and exclaimed "I already told them we don't offer outside dining!" We were dressed very nice and were very pleasant, yet couldn't understand why this woman was so hell-bent on not giving us a patio table.
We then took a table inside. I asked the waiter when they stopped serving outside. He said that there were plenty of open tables, and he would ask the hostess. She then came to our table and told us that those table were for reservations only. It was then 9:20 and 4 tables were open. Not sure what was said in private, but we were then moved to the patio. No other parties ever did take those tables until closing.
This hostess, with her condescending yet does it with a smile attitude, was by far the rudest person I have come across in a long time. I will never go back, no matter how good the food is. The rudeness overpowers all of that and ruined what should have been a great dinner celebration.
