This place just feels different about a year after my first and only visit. My follow-up is based almost entirely on the fact that this place is employed with some great people that are passionate about the coffee. They've been very candid with me and have dumped a shot or two while I waited for my double + pound of Hairbender. Funny that due to my first experience I wasn't a fan of the Hairbender, but since it is one of my 'need to try as often as possible' blends.
Lit is a place that a 'home barista' goes to feel like they're not completely insane. I've met the staff at espresso tasting functions and have been in communication back and forth over product and they've been great people to do business with and talk coffee.
Ya, the shop is nice and it has tables and chairs for people to feel comfortable while 'MSNing' or writing their memoirs. However, they're there to deliver a great coffee experience and they tend to deliver as their shots have been quite consistent and Alex or 'THE BARISTA' has always been informative and inquisitive during the 'shot tasting' phase. haha
Keep it up LIT.
