  • I too gave this place way too many chances (10 visits). I'm never going back. If you want a really cheap mani-pedi for $35 cash and don't really care about the quality or service then this place is perfect for you. I always book an appointment time but it doesn't really matter because their 'schedule' is an illusion. They just take whoever shows up at the door. So it doesn't matter if you made an appointment, you will still wait while they give you abrupt excuses for the delays. And then they rush you through saying they are busy and have more clients coming. While trying to juggle all their clients I often have the technician switch half-way through a pedicure or manicure. A couple of times I had 3 people work on my pedicure before they were done. Seriously? What BS is this? The first time I went there, the place seemed clean and the lady in charge said the ownership doesn't like them to speak anything but English. Well! Ownership must have changed and gone seriously downhill. None of the technicians speak English or pretend they don't. That way they can just ignore what you ask. And the lady in charge becomes rude as soon as you ask a reasonable, typical client request. And all they do is speak to each other in some Asian tongue. So much for having a calm, professional service, but then you get what you pay for. $35 for a mani-pedi is as cheap as you can get. And I wonder about the authentic quality of some of their nail polishes (I didn't know that was possible). Some of their technicians put on the THINNEST coat of nail polish possible with the tiniest strokes (super cheap). One of my pedicures was done so thin that the colour flaked off half of my toe nails. I've never had that happen before. You tell the technician that you want your nails filed square or round - good luck. They do what they want. And then some of them use the coarsest grade of nail file to file your nails which cannot leave your nails smoothly filed. Ridiculous and ignorant but typical. I've really come to detest this place, their unpleasant manager and the technicians whose work varies between: poor, mediocre and OK. Happily, I can afford to spend more on a mani-pedi and I will, somewhere else.
