I have mixed feelings about my first experience at St. Francis. I went on a dinner date with a friend because someone's been suggesting this place quite a bit. When I finally checked it out, I went on a Saturday night around 8:30 pm. Complimentary valet was easy (make sure you're still tipping your valet drivers!), and we were seated right away.
By this time, the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. We were seated in the back patio area. It's a cute little place with lots of lights.... except it took about 15 mins for someone to come to us to just take our drink orders. Actually, nobody ever came - I had to get one of the servers' attention. Once I told her we'd been sitting there for 15 mins, she was apologetic so I became less hangry at this point. Food came and it was alright. After sharing my experience with the waitress, she gave us a dessert on the house for the wait, which I appreciated.
I haven't gone back to St. Francis since this first encounter, but I'd be willing to try it again for brunch or sometime during the day.
