  • Easily my favorite Chinese place in all of Charlotte. The food here is amazing, and perfectly priced so you always feel like you are getting your money's worth and then some. Have been coming for years and it's always consistently delicious as well. Whether it's take out or dine in makes no difference on the taste or the portion size which I've seen vary greatly at other establishments. I will always recommend Taipai South to anyone and everyone. The only downside, and this is MINOR, is that the dine in service could use some work. They are always extremely friendly but there is an overall sense of being rushed through your meal and to pay your check and leave which is the only, and again a VERY MINOR, complaint I have to offer.
