Old hostel space converted into a coffee establishment. Best selling point is...drumroll please, the coffee - smooth and competitively priced. Other positives - the space: minimalist design is refreshing and the open space has potential for hosting events.
Unfortunately a major flaw is the same space, the room's perimeter has comfortable couches and 4-6 person picnic tables but the center space is wasted. The three of us had to wait for a table for 10 minutes to have a seat... The room can easily fit double the headcount - you ultimately sit with random people in the current configuration. What irked me most was the couple who had to sit on the stairwell to have their food/drink. It seemed to be a constant complaint from patrons in the half hour we were there. We decided to get up and leave and give our seats to them...
I would consider this place beneficial for take out coffee but sitting down wasn't a positive experience...
