This hotel is great!!! Awesome location and very easy to get anywhere you need to go. Restaurants everywhere, subway across the street, bus stops and hop on hop off within a stones throw away. Fridge, coffee maker, iron, tv, all in my room. Housekeeping did a lovely job eAch day. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the wifi. I payed for it and it was constantly cutting out. I needed it to keep in touch with my family back home. They have a fitness room to but I did not really use so can't comment on. Also the restaurant joining closes dinner at 7/7.30 which is usually when I want dinner. Odd. Being at the hotel (and in the country) without any friends/family I did get a little homesick. But I found 1 staff member to be extremely accommodating of this. Her name was Crystal. I was told she was one of the managers of the hotel. She made me feel like she was interested in what I did each day and what I enjoyed the most which made me feel more at ease. Also Donna was incredibly helpful at the other desk - explains any tours/attractions guests are interested in. She also let me stick with her whilst I waited for my tour guide to arrive one morning as I was a little uncertain being on my own.. If I come to Toronto again I would definitely choose to stay here again. As for the noise some people complain about - once people settle down for the night it's fine. I was on the 6th floor and didn't really notice traffic outside too much (I was preparing myself for a lot worse having read other reviews). One other thing I could suggest is extra blankets. I don't like sleeping with the heater on and the room tends to get cold whilst the weather is cold outside. Being on my own though I was just able to fold the one on the bed in half.
