| - We have rented from Enterprise many times before at other locations and have never had such a bad experience. I reserved a compact car, rather than an economy, since the Enterprise web site describes compact as a car that will seat 5 people, which we needed during the second day or our trip. The problem began when we arrived and were told our "compact car" was going to be a Fiat 500. This car definitely does NOT hold 5 people. I explained this to the women who was on duty at that time (whom I later learned was a manager). She adamantly assured me that this was a compact car and that their economy cars were much smaller. That is virtually impossible. I explained that their web site had indicated it would be a 5 seater car, but she refused to consider giving us an alternative. She said there were no other compact cars available, although we noted that the Enterprise lot was full of other, larger cars. At that point, we did not have time to argue further and we took the Fiat. She than pressured me very hard to accept the Enterprise gas program so that we would pay Enterprise to refill the tank. I explained that I did not wish to do this and she then insisted that it would be difficult for me to get gas, as the nearest gas station was 8 miles from the Pittsburg airport. I still declined the offer. When I later returned the car, I discovered that there were, in fact, two or three gas stations RIGHT at the airport. So she was outright lying to me.
Finally, when I started the Fiat as we were getting ready to leave the airport a light came on indicating that the car was in need of an oil change. I contact the manager in regards to this and she said to just ignore it, which seemed very questionable. A few minutes later we also discovered that the USB port on the car was broken. We called to report this so we would not be charged for any repairs.
