  • I stopped at a roadside stand north of Hermosillo to pick up some coyotas during a return trip from a recent visit to San Carlos, Mexico. My fiancee had never tried them before and fell in love with them. She subsequently began an online search to find a place where we could purchase them locally. That search resulted in us visiting a Mexican cafe (see our 12/18/2017 review for El Sol Mexican Cafe), which unfortunately did not have any coyotas for sale among their selection of baked goods. However, the gentlemen who took our order at the cafe recommended that we try this shop. To our delight, they did have in stock a few varieties of prepackaged coyotas imported from Hermosillo, along with a small assortment of the usual packaged and fresh backed goods. Finding these coyotas locally had been a little tricky up until that point and so there's no doubt we will be returning periodically to satisfy our craving.
