| - To get this out of the way, i would like to reiterate common themes everyone else has said: fresh fish, sustainable catches, wide range of seafood, great service, chefs on site, knowledgeable staff, they post their daily menus online, yadda yadda yadda, this place is great. if I could deduct a 1/2 star for the prices, i would; be warned, it is a bit pricey, but i think that quality seafood is worth it
I always get my sushi fish here, they always have a variety. This is also the only place I will get raw oysters from now on, as other markets typically dont bother knowing where theirs are from or when they were harvested.
All that aside, the #1 best thing about this place is that it is clean - looks clean, smells clean. I have been to nearly every seafood market in charlotte, and they all smell and look terrible and generally look a little sketchy to be buying fresh fish from, even if it actually was good and fresh. not only does Clean Catch carry a great product, but everything appears nice as well, so you're comfortable buying from them. trust and peace of mind are very important when it comes to buying seafood (have one bad experience and you will agree with me ).
