Go Wildcats!
Davidson College has a nice campus in rural North Carolina, north of Charlotte. It's a beautiful campus that also has a lake campus just outside of town. It's a small liberal arts college with an emphasis on arts.
The thing that makes Davidson College exceptional is the strong adherence and trust in the Honor Code. The students are trusted to take self administered, self proctored exams, and swear that they won't plagiarize, or look up the answers on Google or Wikipedia. They have to take a solemn oath upon admission, and they uphold their word! You'll often find signs up around school that notify passersby of something that was found so the lost property can be claimed. I've even heard that someone dropped a five dollar bill once, and people put up signs to find its lost owner.
They also have free bikes around campus. It's not against the Honor Code to pick up one of the dedicated bicycles and go ride it, and leave it when you're done.
The coolest thing about this school is that they have eliminated the need to get a student loan! They've worked out an arrangement that doesn't force the student body into debt for their education by providing tuition assistance when necessary.
It's a beautiful campus, with lots of old buildings and a great chapel run by the Presbyterian Church.
