The Pilot has, in my humble opinion, one of the best assorted appetizer platters ($16.95) I've seen in a while. With an assortment of smooshy crab cakes, fragrant coconut shrimp, lightly battered calamari rings, and juicy chicken skewers, and not one weasly filler-filled spring roll to push around, there's plenty of variety to keep us dabblers happy. The wine and beer lists are quite extensive and the rest of the pub fare menu provides plenty of options to choose from.
The first thing you see when you walk in is the uber long and stylish bar. The rest of the large black room is given character through touches of metallic aviation themed accents. It kind of makes you wish you were going somewhere by plane, but then again, the drinks wouldn't be half as good as you can get on the ground!
