  • I had an opportunity to try Firkin on the Bay with a couple of friends on the Monday after Thanksgiving. We asked for a booth but were told that booths can only be given to parties of five or more; albeit, we noticed a lot of couples sitting in them. Anyway, not a huge deal as they sat us at a comfortable table but I can see other patrons being offended by the booth thing. We ordered some drinks and fries with gravy to start and everything arrived in decent time. As the night went on, we ordered ceasar salads and calamari. The ceasar salad was really good as they didn't skimp on the cheese, bacon and dressing; plus, the romaine was fresh and crispy. Calamari was kind of on the greasy side though so I wouldn't order it again. The pub itself is very well decorated, has a lot of TVs so you can watch whatever game interests you. Prices were adequate but I wished they had more items on the menu to choose from. I thought the service was friendly as well. I think it's fair to give it 3.5 stars.
