| - I have been coming here since they opened, decades ago. I believe this is the longest standing restaurant at the Pavillions (now Talking Stick). On my visit last weekend, I witnessed a mother and daughter (in front of me in line) abusing the staff, breaking the rules, and being all around nasty people.
They had ordered the small bowl (which is plenty of food for even the largest of appetites), but began smashing literally pounds and pounds of meat with another bowl, and was politely told that using a second bowl to smash food is a no-no. She reacted extremely rudely and continued doing it. When the employee noticed her, he politely reminded her that it was against the rules. At this point, her bowl is stacked 20 hands high, food is falling on the floor and all over the counter, and she continues adding more and more food... she yells at the employee "you're harassing me, you don't need to tell me again, stop it! Stop it! Stop it! You're harassing me!". He offered her money back but she got angrier. If it were me, I would have dumped her tray into the trash and tossed her out.
So, my lunch was spent sitting across from this horrible woman watching her eat herself to death. My advice to the staff--don't let these people bully you.
