  • If you are just flying into YYZ and then heading out to Toronto, then this airport is great! If you are using it to connect internationally or to other parts of Canada, it can be a pain in the ass. -/+ Customs (in to Canada) - Over the years they have improved this. They have added the actual monitors for you to submit your cards to. If you travel to/from the USA/Canada, make your life easier and invest in Nexus. Wait times can be long depending on the flights landing **One thing to note is that there is a flaw with the machine reading the customs form currently and you may have to get assistance from one of the people monitoring the machine. +/- Customs (to US) - if you are flying back to the US you will need to go through US customs. Thankfully, it is extremely easy if you have Nexus or Global Entry. There can be a wait if you don't. + Wifi- It's free +Flight availability - It's a major airport and the number of flights offered and the number different airlines servicing the airport is large + Terminal 1 is great, Terminal 3 is awful. Especially for the D gates. Once inside you are pretty much trapped with minimal restaurants, seating, and power outlets. - Connections- This is one of the most painful processes ever. If you are coming from the US, after clearing customs, expect to then collect luggage, if you have any, turn it back into your airline, and then clear security again to get to your gate. The walk to get to your connection can take 20+ minutes depending on the crowds, and that isn't even including the time in security
