  • Needed a drive sprocket for my Genie belt-drive opener, purchased at a "home center" chain store that supplies the unit, but no spare parts (a practice I detest - maximizes profit but minimizes value and customer service ... but that's for another review ...). Neither, unfortunately, did the nearest Ace or True Value Hardware stores. Could've ordered online and had the part here later this week. Called Smokey's: Yes, they have it; yes, in stock, and 5 miles up the road. An hour later, and I'm in business again. Paid a multiple of what I would've online (thus no 5-star rating ...) ... but my opener's done today and I supported a local business. Thanks, Smokey's!
