  • About as good as a dealership experience can be. Saw a nice 2008 Camry XLE on Autotrader early on a Sunday morning. Been looking for a few weeks and finding nothing but shit at the money we wanted to spend. Got down to Avondale Toyota and met Scott. I always dread dealing with sleazy, underhanded, vulture-like car salesman, but Scott was quite a bit different. He was very friendly, didn't push us into any of the other vehicles on the lot, and made an effort to search out the Camry we liked even though it had not been reconditioned yet. Saw the car, liked the car, but it had a few issues. Decided to buy, and Scott had no issue creating an addendum to fix the few problems we had with the vehicle. Overall process took about 2 hours, and we ate most of their snacks in the snack bar. Pricing was OK; I don't understand this "No Haggle" thing that dealerships are moving towards, since it pulls the rug out from the educated and aggressive buyer. However, the deal was pretty straightforward, and I felt like we got a good value, especially given how much recon labor they put into it at the end of the day. Scott said the car would be finished by following Friday at the latest, as parts had to be ordered for the sunroof. He rang my girlfriend early in the week to tell her it would be longer than expected, but that he was able to get her a loaner car (2016 Corolla S) in the mean time. Outstanding. When we did take delivery, the car looked great. Every issue had been addressed and corrected properly. We were very happy, and I would likely buy from Scott again given how this transaction went. This is by far the best Toyota Dealership I've come across in Phoenix. If you're on the west-side, skip the others and head here.
